Solo Chicken New Member Information

Everything you need to help you start your Solo Chicken journey on the right foot… claw…

Solo Chicken Productions

At Solo Chicken we endeavour to create a safe space for our participants, artists, volunteers and friends to create and learn in. The forms and policies you’ll find here are an essential part of building that safe space and we ask that you join us on that journey.

NOT ALL FORMS APPLY TO ALL FOLKS SO ASK OUR STAFF WHICH STEPS ARE RIGHT FOR YOU!

Health & Safety Policy

We ask that all new members of the company read our healthy and safety/code of conduct/harassment policy and take special note of our communication ladder. Once you read the policy please sign the acknowledgement form!

Photo & Video Release Form

We like to take lots of photos and sometimes video’s of our activities and often share them online and with our partners and funders. Please sign this form to let us know if we can take photos’s/video of you and share it. It is your choice to either give or deny permission for us to take videos and photographs of you.

Spirit Project Intake Form

Are you joining Solo Chicken Productions Spirit Project? If so, this handy form is a great way to get started with us. It includes links the the Health & Safety Form, Photo & Video Release and instructions on our Vulnerable Sector Check.

Spirit Project Paper Companion

Are you joining The Spirit Project? Then the Paper Companion is for you! Since starting the project in 2019, our practice has evolved alongside our methodology. This companion highlights the project goals and lessons we have learned over the past four years. (Thanks to Kaylee MacNeil and our 2023 Summer Staff Noah Deas and Jordan Comeau for spearheading the creation of this!)

Vulnerable Sector Check

Are you teaching a workshop with Solo Chicken? Are you joining The Spirit Project as an artist? Then you may need to get your vulnerable sector check done.

Please send a copy of your check to Lisa (lisa@solochickenproductions.com).

Online application for a Vulnerable Sector Check!(FREDERICTON RESIDENTS ONLY).

For residents outside of Fredericton, please contact your local RCMP or municipal government office for information on obtaining a vulnerable sector check.

SCP Inclusive Language Guide

A guide created by our staff member Kaylee MacNeil that will give you a primer on how to talk about intellectual and physical disabilities and why language matters! (Language is always evolving and we aim to keep this as up to date as possible, but we welcome your feedback when necessary!)
