What is The Spirit Project?
The Spirit Project is a company of artists with and without intellectual and/or physical disabilities, Autism and/or dual diagnosis whose mission is to share the joys of inclusive living and to create dynamic, engaging, luminous art. Run in partnership with L’Arche Fredericton and The Charlotte Street Arts Centre, The Spirit Project artists come together weekly to create, perform, eat, laugh, and share the joys of living in community.

All are welcome in our creative circle!
The Spirit Project runs on Wednesday’s from 1:00PM - 3:00PM in the Auditorium of the Charlotte Street Arts Centre, which is located at 732 Charlotte Street.
The programming is all FREE! All materials are included plus a healthy snack is offered during each workshop.
Workshops are open to all! Following in the spirit of L’Arche the workshops are meant to provide opportunities to make known the gifts of adults with intellectual disabilities and to create opportunities for folks to discover the joys of inclusion and community living. Come and make new friends and join the ‘school of the heart’.

What began in the Spring of 2019 as ‘a year of art based workshops’ has flourished into a company of artists that have made multiple shows, toured through the Atlantic provinces, collaborated with amazing artists and shared our work through workshops, concerts and more. WE ARE LUMINOUS is a walk through a day at The Spirit Project, featuring our warm-up, meditation, games and special performances of our Spirit Project song and poem.
