Storytelling in the Garden

A Children’s Theatre & Nature Workshop

Storytelling in the Garden is a once a week outdoor workshop happening in July at the Fredericton Botanic Garden. These workshops  focus on teaching theatre to kids by using the nature surrounding us for inspiration! Each week we will explore a new storytelling skill while also learning about a natural element featured in the gardens. This workshop is all about igniting a love for nature by slowing down and listening deeply with all of our senses and exercising our inner creativity! Each week has a theme and you are welcome to join for one week or all four:

WEEK ONE:  Plant Personalities: Character Work and Flowers

WEEK TWO: Yes, and-SQUIRREL: Improv and Animals

WEEK THREE:  Let’s Bug OUT: Writing and Insects
