1 Hour Workshop

A fun and breezy introduction to the world of improvisation! Through a variety of improv games and exercises, this one-hour workshop will introduce your team to improv’s “Yes And” mentality, promoting cooperation, collaboration and playfulness! This shorter session is perfect for team building, company events and anyone looking to bring some joy to their organization!

Half-Day (3 Hour) Workshops

An in-depth improv workshop for those looking to gain real-world skills from improv! This half-day session gives your team a chance to learn the basic tenets of improvisation and how they apply in our social and professional lives. Learn how to make and accept “offers”, sharpen listening skills, hone your impulses and improve your mind’s flexibility! This 3 hour workshop is geared towards teams seeking practical skills to foster a cooperative and creative work environment!

Pricing

Solo Chicken looks to provide adaptable and accessible options across all of its endeavours. This is reflected in our workshop pricing. SCP offers flexible pricing for small businesses, not-for-profits and equity-seeking organizations. For profit/large-scale companies pay full price, which empowers Solo Chicken to continue offering accessible pricing to those who may otherwise not be able to afford our programming.

Between 20 - 50: $500

Between 50 - 100: $800

Between 100 - 200: $1200

Half-Day (3 Hour) Workshop

Under 20 People: $800

Between 20 - 50: $1200

Meet your Instructor

Our instructors have decades of experience both in and outside of the classroom.

Jean-Michel Cliche (he/him)

Jean-Michel Cliche is a theatre and improv educator. He has taught at the University of New Brunswick and Theatre New Brunswick, and is the Head of Training at Solo Chicken Productions. He has over 15 years of improv experience, which includes competing in  competitive improv sports, training over 100+ improvisers in Fredericton NB, and developing the award-winning improv show TILT. Jean-Michel has also worked with Energia Ventures and the Summer Institute to provide performance coaching to their entrepreneurs.
